Meet our Table Builder #1

Welcome to our Table Builders where we ask some important questions based on our Christmas Campaign:

“When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence.”

Lovely Kate is the first of our Christmas Table Builders. She is a Beaver Scout Leader and lives in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

1. How do you like your brussel sprouts?
   Shredded and sautéed with bacon and chestnuts. 

2. What’s at the top of your Christmas Wish List?
   Socks. Nothing beats putting on a new pair of socks! 

3. Is it a turkey Christmas, or are you veggie, vegan, seagan, or something else?
   Nope. Herb crusted beef sirloin. A nod to dad who will be so missed at our table again this year. 

4. Who will be at your Christmas table?
   3 generations of fabulous family. 

5. What’s your best Christmas Cracker joke?
   How did Darth Vader know what Luke was getting for Christmas? He felt his presents! 

6. If – in the spirit of our Christmas Campaign – you would be keen to build a longer table rather than a higher fence, who would you lengthen your table for this Christmas?

7. Who would you most like to encourage to do the same (i.e. is there someone you can think of who would benefit from being mindful of the saying!)?
   Every single one of us! 

8. Which of our handcrafted Christmas gifts would you like to give to another?
   The Harare angels are my all-time favourite. They sparkle beautifully on the table or hanging from the tree – so simple and festive in the candlelight.
