Christmas With A Difference
Empathy Action Christmas campaign is all about people you are thankful for . During a year of social isolation, so many people have found ways to encourage and support friends and family and reached out to help strangers.

Learning how to make a fuss
Our volunteer Vix was born with hearing loss and, in her brave and brilliant blog, entitled I am Deaf she has been exploring her deafness and its impact upon her life. It reminded us all of the importance of raising our voices to change the world, both for ourselves and others.

Building Connection in Uncertain Times
At Empathy Action we thrive on building connections with people, with organisations and with communities. We believe that sharing stories binds us together and creates the space for empathy to grow.

Time for reflection
As the summer holidays begin, we asked our incredible Team Empathy to reflect upon these unprecedented few months and share what has resonated with them most during this time.

Storytelling is at the heart of what Empathy Action does. We tell real stories of poverty and desperation and hope through our simulations, our makers’ gifts, our posts, and our photographs.

Solidarity in a Time of Crisis – 11
One of the words we have been sharing at Empathy Action, possibly more than any other over these last weeks, has been solidarity. We’ve been asking each other questions such as how do we stand in solidarity with those in need, with those who are oppressed, with those who are impoverished and struggling in our world today.

Empathy in A Time of Crisis – 10
As we move slowly towards a new kind of normal, we asked our brilliant Team Empathy what they have taken from this time and what their hopes are for the future:

Empathy in a Time of Crisis – 3
At the end of our third week in lockdown, we are still baking bread (with mixed results). The photos we share of our endeavours – with the occasional novel ingredient – keep us connected and smiling as flour turns to gold dust across the land.

Empathy in a Time of Crisis – 2
As we near the end of our second week in lockdown, and as the Covid -19 crisis continues to unfold here in the UK and across the world, at Empathy Action we have been keeping ourselves busy, while remaining socially distant.
